Engineered Class Conveyor Pulleys
Bucyrus' heavy-duty Turbo-Disc and T-Bottom pulleys can reliably drive conveyors with installed power in excess of 4,000 hp and resultant belt tensions exceeding 500,000 lbs. The cost effective design of our pulleys allows us to offer an advanced pulley design for applications, where in the past only standard-type pulleys were available. Customers now have the choice of a high-performance precision piece of equipment as an option to the ANSI/MPTA-type pulley, which has been the only choice for years.

Both pulley types feature:
• Profiled end discs machined from solid steel plate eliminating all
  welds in areas of high stress concentration
• A keyless locking device eliminating the unfavorable hub-to-disc
  weld and pre-stressing of the end disc during assembly
• Proprietary welding techniques insuring complete penetration
• A machined rim
• Static balancing


Impact Slider Beds
Bucyrus’ impact slider beds are capable of withstanding the toughest of conditions. The attached impact idlers assure that proper belt elevation is obtained in order to extend wear bar life. We also offer impact slider beds without impact idlers and can furnish, in addition to standard 4 ft. bed lengths (w/o impacts) or 6 ft. lengths (w/impact idlers), lengths built to fit your application. We also offer impact slider beds with degrees varying from 5 – 20 degrees. A 1 in. thick replaceable EXALON wear bar reinforced with an inch of rubber backing mounted on heavy-duty structural framework provides ultimate belt protection in loading zones. Our inclined bar sections are designed to drop flat for ease of installation and units with impact idlers feature removable end brackets.


Underground Idlers
Bucyrus offers a complete line of steel and EXALON (polyethylene) carry and return idlers for both underground and aboveground applications. Bucyrus’ underground idlers and structure are available in roof-hung, floor-mounted or wire rope. Both steel and EXALON rolls are available in 4, 5, 6 or 7 in. roll diameters in CEMA classes C, D and E with tapered roller bearings and utilize Bucyrus’ double quadruple labyrinth v-ring lip seal, with the industry’s longest path (3 in.) to the bearings. Retrofit & Replacement Rolls
Bucyrus has over 25 years of experience in manufacturing rolls to fit a variety of competitor’s frames and brackets. We can also furnish impact and rubber disc rolls to fit other frames/brackets. Our retrofit and replacement rolls are available in CEMA series C, D and E. Shown at right are some of the more common retrofits we provide regularly in either EXALON (plastic) or steel rolls.

Specialty Conveyor Products
Bucyrus understands that not all of your belt conveyor needs can be met with standard idlers and therefore we offer you the ability to custom design frames and rolls for special applications.
