As President and Chief Executive Officer, I am proud to lead Bucyrus, a company with a long, proud past and, more importantly, a very promising future. We are very excited about the expansion of our product line so that we now serve both surface and underground mining machinery markets. Bucyrus will continue its focus of being a world-class leader in the design and manufacture of high-quality mining products.

The commodity markets are in the early stages of an extended up cycle.
