The battery powered Bucyrus Vers-A-Tracฎ series of
longwall shield movers has been the market in
capability for many years. The Bucyrus Vers-A-Tracฎ
shield mover makes longwall face moves simpler and
less costly. The Vers-A-Tracฎ is a specially
engineered ultra-heavy-duty machine capable of
lifting and carrying up to 36 short tons.

features. All changes have culminated in a machine

the basic frame height and width dimensions of its

The compact Bucyrus MH-40 diesel loader was
developed to suit cramped mine conditions. The MH-40
carries a massive 40 metric tonnes on standard forks. The
design focuses on haulage of longwall shields and
heavier ancillary components of the longwall.
