Chains designed by, and exclusively manufactured for, Bucyrus deliver high efficiency and low chain, chain sprocket and conveyor wear. We have continuously improved the design of our chains and chain sprockets over decades, taking their performance to new heights.

The GR chain sprocket always uses three teeth simultaneously to transmit drive force, increasing efficiency from 93% to 97% compared to conventional chain sprockets
Our 42mm and 48mm chains have been the standard for years - our new Power Chain opens up new dimensions for face conveyors and productivity. The Power Chain high-performance chain is available in sizes up to 52 mm for drive power up to 3 x 1200 kW. Currently, our engineers are testing the latest model of the Power Chain, designed for drive power of up to 3 x 1800 kW !
