Continuous Miners

Bucyrus has a "seamless" family of Continuous Miners for both soft and hard cutting applications, in any seam thickness. The Continuous Miner product line offers mining solutions for seams as low as 810 mm (32") and up to 4.7 m (15.4 ft.)

All continuous miners offer:

Wide conveyor for maximum loading rates
Wide crawlers for maximum penetration and low ground pressure
Radio remote with self diagnostics available
Motor ratings based on 60hz operating frequency
Optional VFD Traction Control

25M Series - low seam

The latest additions to the family are the four machines of the 25M series. Formerly known as Dash 0 to Dash 3, they range from the 25M-0 with minimum cutting heights of 711mm (28") for operation in seams as thin as 810mm (32") to the 25M-3 which operates in seams of 1524- 912mm (60 to 154").

30M Series - mid-high seam

The 30M Series ranges from the mid-seam 30M2 to the 30M4-NP, which is a high-reaching machine capable of operating in narrow roadways, the 30M3 for medium to high seams and the 30MB miner/bolter.
