Rapid Attachment System

FBL 10
The FBL 10 is a multi-functional vehicle designed to maximize speed, power and carrying capacity in a compact envelope. The modern coal mine needs versatile equipment. With the RAS (Rapid Attachment System) fitted, the FBL 10 allows rapid changes from bucket to forks to jib crane to belt reeler. Used in conjunction with the CHT 50 Shield Trailer, the FBL 10 is a high-speed shield transport combination. - view specs

FBL 10 Brochure

FBL 15
The FBL 15 has the highest speed of any underground coal machine in the world. Versatility and speed were key design criteria for the FBL 15. Speed and power are required to move longwall shields, already weighing up to 40 tonnes and expected to increase in weight. When coupled with the CHT 50, the two form a high-speed combination for quick and safe haulage of shields weighing up to 50 tonnes. The RAS system ensures versatility and maximum utilization of the unit. - view specs

FBL 15 Brochure

Rapid Attachment System (RAS)
RAS is based on the safe loading and stability requirements. Each attachment is tested and performance rated. The RAS is designed to provide the strength required for multifunctional usage of the Tractor / Utility / LHDs. This allows changing from bucket to forks to jib crane to CHT 50 trailer without removing the backing plate. One machine can take on many roles and one man can change the attachments.

• Ejector plate bucket
• Side shift forks
• Belt reeler
• Cable reeler
• Jib crane [static and slewing]
• Work baskets
• Fuel and lubrication module
• Materials pod system
• Concrete hopper

  Mobile Generators
The Mobile Generator Sets have been designed to provide a reliable power source for relocation of electrically powered equipment in the coal mine. The unit is towed behind the equipment being powered or by one of the FBL range of vehicles. It is available in Fireproof or Flameproof versions, with or without brakes.
