Shearer Haulage Systems
Bucyrus designs and manufactures chain-type and rackbar-type haulage systems compatible with all shearers. Design and material selection aim at highest system availability and maximum life of the shearer and its haulage system.

All systems are tested for problem-free application in the prevailing geological conditions, such as undulating deposits. Extended research and development work – combined with test runs underground – ensure optimum interaction of the mining machine and the haulage system.

 

Systems
Depending on the customer’s preference, there is also a choice between a wider support base for the shearer and a minimized tip to face distance.
